COVID 19

March 27 – April 10, 2020

With the Governor’s “stay-at-home” order Doctors of Chiropractic can continue to provide care to their patients. Governor Walz issued Executive Order 20-20 that requires, beginning on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:59 pm through Friday, April 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm, all persons currently living within the State of Minnesota to stay at their place of residence except to engage in the Activities and Critical Sector work. The executive order excepts healthcare and public health workers listed in the CISA Guidance. It is the interpretation of the MCA that chiropractors and chiropractic clinics are included as healthcare providers under the CISA Guidance which lists health care “Caregivers” and “Workers in other medical facilities” that include “Clinics”.

The MCA recommends doctors of chiropractic only see acute, neuromusculoskeletal patients through April 10th. This is to support Executive Order 20-20 while keeping those who can benefit greatly from chiropractic care out of Urgent Care and/or the Emergency Room.

Our office will adopt and follow these guidelines as well as our CDC and governing boards.

For your safety we are spreading out care so that there are minimal to no interactions between patients through the day. We have beefed up the cleaning and precautions advised by the CDC. We have also extended our care to telehealth services for our patients who have been working on their health on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly health visits.

Thank you for your patience and support through this time.
